Red Needle Yarns

The very first Red Needle store opened in 1977 in Katonah, New York, a small bedroom community situated fifty miles north of New York City in Westchester County. Since then the Red Needle has flourished in New York, Colorado and now Savannah, Georgia.

Drawing customers from all around Georgia and the surrounding states, we are a full-service yarn shop known for our friendly, knowledgeable service, hands-on teaching and custom designs. We stock a wide variety of yarn types and brands as well as needles, notions and a multitude of pattern books throughout our 3000 square foot store. From scarves to afghans, from sweaters to socks, from felting to scrap-yarn projects, we can help you with all your needs. We also offer custom sweater finishing services for those time-starved knitters.

Offering classes for knitters and crocheters of all levels as well as specialty workshops by guest designers such as Nicky Epstein, we invite men and women of all ages, interests and professions to gather to knit and crochet with friends new and old while partaking of complimentary coffee and cookies.

Our goal is to supply you with high quality yarns, the patterns supporting those yarns and most importantly a welcoming environment for knitting and crochet.
